ALTERNATIVE DISPUTE RESOLUTION

We recognize the importance of Alternative Dispute Resolution in fostering creative means of resolution short of litigation.

Our Litigation Chairperson, Sheryl Schwartz, has experience in ADR, both as a client advocate and appointed neutral. Ms. Schwartz is an arbitrator on the select commercial litigation and construction litigation panels of the American Arbitration Association and one of the handful of AAA mediators in New Jersey. Ms. Schwartz also is a certified arbitrator and mediator for the United States District Courts for the District of New Jersey and a member of the National Arbitration Forum's panel of arbitrators for consumer disputes. She is often asked by private parties to act as the party's appointed neutral on arbitration panels pursuant to the clients' contracts with third parties. Likewise, she has been asked to conduct private mediations. She has been successful at private and confidential resolution of disputes before litigation is filed.

Ms. Schwartz is an adjunct professor at Rutgers Law School where she teaches International Alternative Dispute Resolution.

In representing clients in litigation and arbitration, the firm focuses upon the most expeditious and economical means of resolving client disputes, including recommendations to other dispute resolution experts in the field. They have worked with a panoply of such professionals in representing clients of the firm.
