John W. McGowan III
Mr. McGowan practices in the areas of business law, commercial real estate, and bank lending. He provides a wide range of services to business clients, including forming corporations and limited liability companies, and preparing the attendant organic documents and necessary agreements; counseling clients on general business matters; preparing and negotiating employment, non-competition, confidentiality, consulting, and purchase and sale contracts; representing clients in the leasing and sale of real estate and personal property; negotiating and preparing documents for the purchase and sale of businesses and lines of businesses; and representing clients in negotiating and closing bank financing arrangements.
Prior to joining Herold Law, P.A., Mr. McGowan was an associate at the law firm of McCarter & English in Newark, New Jersey.
Community Involvement:
Mr. McGowan served as a member of the board of directors of United National Bancorp, a bank holding company, and of United Trust Bank, a state chartered bank, from 1996 through 2003.
