Arthur J. Clarke
Mr. Clarke specializes in environmental litigation, counseling, due diligence, and regulatory compliance matters. He has extensive technical experience with environmental remediation projects, waste management programs, facility compliance auditing, and pre-acquisition investigations. Mr. Clarke regularly represents clients before state and federal administrative agencies. He assists clients with the negotiation of environmental permits, regulatory compliance issues, and enforcement defense. He has designed and implemented environmental regulatory compliance and auditing programs for a number of clients. Mr. Clarke has led international and domestic due diligence teams in the investigation and assessment of environmental liabilities. Mr. Clarke also assists with negotiating the environmental aspects of corporate and real estate transactions. His experience includes litigating cost recovery actions, third-party contribution matters, and environmental insurance coverage cases. In addition to his legal experience, Mr. Clarke has more than ten years of experience as an Environmental Consultant where he managed numerous remediation projects for private and public clients including the United States Environmental Protection Agency.
